In Other Words

“The worth and excellency of a soul is to be measured
by the object of its love.”
Henry Scougal (The Life of God in the Soul of Man ),
quoted by John Piper in The Pleasures of God

It’s been a while since I’ve done this! I have missed participating in it!

I think this quote says so much. I struggle constistently with trying to remember where my heart SHOULD lay, and where IT IS at some points in my life. I pray that my heart will be molded and melted into God’s heart and lay where HIS desires are. I pray that your heart will be there as well!

May the words of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart be pleasing to you, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer.
