tackle it tuesday — if i can stay awake!M

Mr C is in farm show mode, so i’m home alone for the week mostly. I’m not really happy about that, though I know it has to be done.

we’ve been up.. like today at 5 am and I’m tired… Master J is busy being a goof ball and doesn’t want to sleep…

On a really neat note we’ve had visitors early in the morning…

As the kiddo’s like to greet him “Good morning Deer boy!” and hey.. it’s a boy! Bambi!!!

So part of my tackle… how to keep the deer out of my garden! Mr. C said he saw tracks in the garden already, so suggestions???

My other tackle is to wash not only my laundry, but a friend of mine and myself sort clothes and help pass them onto other places (while getting a few freebies myself) so I have 5 garbage bags of clothes to go through, clean and sort!) Wish me luck!!! Anyone need something? lol come on over!!!

on a side note, my internet is having issues (which is why I didn’t post here yesterday… i think it’s the birds sitting on our tower and moved it.. bahh.. i miss the snow when nothing nothing could make it change position! lol.. so if you don’t hear from me, bare with me as I deal with connection!!!

Tackle it Tuesday – the living room

Well, what a week!

Miss H isn’t feeling well and I”m off to pick her up from my mom’s house.  So that alone has been the tackle as she’s phoning me crying that she wants to come home… i think hormones and a growth spurt have something to do with it.. and probably some sugar and lack of sleep.

My other tackle today was getting a new phone.  I managed to lose mine on Sunday   I think at church, but seeing it’s my home phone as well I can’t wait and nobody seems to be phoning me back… I had it turned off and ordered a new one.

I’m sad it’s not “pink” like my other one, but it’ll do right?

The other big thing I’ve been working on has been moving my book shelves from downstairs and reusing them upstairs (along with all the books) and using it as a wall… if I like it in the long run than I’ll actually build a wall there.  So far I like the feel of it.  It’s just cleaning up the aftermath of it!  Miss H helped move all the books!  now I’ve been going thru putting them in order by type.. all the kids stuff are on the bottom so even Master J can get his fingers on his books w/o taking the whole shelf down!

Hopefully it will get finished this week, but first going to pick up Miss H cuz she loves and misses me… (I feel bad for her, but glad to know she loves me).

Oh my other tackle is finish my book and reading up on a health book and I have stampin up class tonight!  so going to make some cards!

Tackle it Tuesday -Pantry problems

So, last week I tacked…

1. getting packages to mail b/c I had a delay in getting some photo’s back, but they are ready to go out!

2. research on the biofeedback I received last night.

3. Decide on a shower gift for my nephew

4. work on cleaning the counter

5. go to curves and sign up for their 30 day trial with my friend K.

My tackle last night… as part of the degerming my house,and organizing again is my spring pantry cleaning

It was nasty.. cheerios must have had a war in there b/c I think I found about a half a box of them all over the floor.. my dog was quite happy about that! not to self.. keep cereal up where little hands can’t reach!

So I’m home from Edmonton today! So tackling unpacking since we got in late last night!

I had 2 babies throwing up on the plane back home, so they are in bed… waaaaa

my mother asked me to make 80 name plates for her red hat heritage day. So I made up 2 different samples for her to choose what colors, and ideas from:

anyhow, going to work on these as soon as she decides which one she likes better…

And yes, these are the very rough drafts.. they’re not real pretty yet, but you get the idea!

Tackle it tuesday – books!

I’ve been working on this tackle for a while now.  I finished all the kids baby books .. which is really just my photo albums … from 2003,2004, 2005, 2006 (no kid, but did a book), 2007, and i’m on top of the game with starting the book for 2008.

It’s all my digital scrapbooking & photography done.  Here are the covers of the book.  I published them and got them hardbound through blurb.com.

kinda neat eh?  Now, if I never scrapbook again, it doesn’t matter!  the kids are done!

Each book is approx 100 pages or more… yes, lots of work!!

my tackle for Tuesday…

Well nothing too exciting I’m afraid. I was thinking of tackling my bedroom.. it’s a pretty sad site (and sight) these days since the past 3 weeks have basically been spent in there sick (dh mostly).. it need a good wipe down.. pictures will be on shortly! (well.. okay, late afternoon)..

After that, I was thinking of tackling more laundry (as usual) and perhaps a book.. I’ve been really having fun reading lately.

I need to get my jiffy pots too, since Mr. C threw the ones I bought the other week in our burn barrel by accident… it’s still cold, so i’m not really worried, but they do need to get started!

so high ho high ho, it’s off to clean I go!

• I need to go to the lab and get some tests done -done!
• Go to Miss H’s school for an interview – went great
• work on the never ending pile of laundry – still working on it.
• clean my shirt i just spilt coffee on – done
• get my stuff ready for stamp class otnight! – was ready!
• oh ya, and finish washing and putting away all the winter clothes and boots; toss out stuff that doesn’t fit. – on the last batch of stuff that has to be cleaned and given away!

So, onto my new project!

My sink! I hate cleaning it b/c our water is hard. I have to use CLR on it to do anything! Anyhow, hubby was “helping” in the kitchen, so I thought I couldn’t wait any longer!

It didn’t turn out too bad!!!
